This seated miniature statue is sometimes called the Happy Buddha, but it may also be a representation of a revered ancient Chinese monk called Hotei, well known for his generosity, Buddhist sermons, and kind nature. He's considered a symbol of good luck, joy, and contentment. Sometimes he carries a large bag filled with treats to reward children who learn well in school.
Our oxidized high-relief .925 sterling silver version shows him robed and seated, grinning in happy meditation.
Height does not include 5mm soldered jump ring.
