Owls are noted for their wisdom, keen sight, and patience. These night-hunting predatory birds have long been associated with the spiritual and the magical. In folklore, they're considered hunter's totems, revealers of deception, and guides to the underworld. In many Western cultures, owls have also become a symbol of education and schooling.
This folk-art style owl charm is etched on 1mm thick flat .925 sterling silver plate, and lightly oxidized to show its detailed feathers and its cute face.
