Dieser starke, spiegelpolierte Stahlhammer hatte zwei flache Arbeitsflächen: eine mit ungefähr (52) 1x2 mm großen erhabenen Rechtecken in einem Gittermuster und eine mit (6) konzentrischen 1,3 mm großen Kreisen, die von einem 5 mm großen leeren Mittelpunkt ausgingen. Beim Schlagen auf weichere Metallbleche wie Silber, Kupfer, Messing oder goldgefülltes Material können die Köpfe vertiefte Flecken oder schmale konzentrische Ringe hinterlassen. Wenn dieses Muster in unterschiedlichen Winkeln geschlagen wird, kann es für mehr Komplexität überlappt werden.
Dies ist eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, großformatige, individuelle Muster auf Metallblechen oder vorgefertigten Metallrohlingen zu erstellen.
