Los cortadores al ras son cortadores de alambre afilados hasta el vértice del borde de corte en un lado de la mandíbula, para un corte plano que requiere menos acabado. Diseñados para cortar alambre blando de hasta calibre 20 (0,8 mm). Adecuados para plata, oro, cobre, aluminio y grados más blandos de latón y acero o láminas delgadas. No se recomiendan para alambre con memoria, alambre flexible y acero más duro.
Características: Hojas de acero para herramientas con dureza Rockwell 54C, un resorte de retorno que minimiza el movimiento de la mano y empuñaduras antideslizantes. La punta estrecha permite el acceso a áreas pequeñas. El acabado negro en la superficie de corte superior ayuda a reducir la fatiga visual. Perfecto para joyeros que utilizan alambres de calibre más estrecho en técnicas de tejido, crochet, fabricación de cadenas, filigrana, esmaltado y volutas.
