Our 14Kt yellow gold filled 0.8mm-wide rope chain comes in a ready-to-wear 24" length, with a 5.5mm spring ring clasp and two matching oval soldered jump rings.
Rope chains are made of oval links interwoven through multiple connections, producing a spiral rope-like effect.
When using this light but versatile rope chain, it's important to always connect jump rings, wire loops, and other findings to two chain links at once, instead of one (see close-up in our pictures). This continues the interconnected look of the chain, and helps improve strength at the join. This may mean using a larger circular or oval jump ring, to cover the distance.
