Lacrosse is a contact team sport generally played outdoors between two teams, using a small rubber ball and long-handled, mesh-headed sticks. It has similarities to both hockey and basketball, and began as a cultural tradition of the Native American Iroquois people inhabiting parts of the Northeastern US and lower parts of Ontario and Quebec. It is still often considered a Northeastern US, or 'east coast' sport with an association to elite colleges and affluence, but in recent years has grown as a middle-class sport in the South, Midwest, and western parts of America.
Our 6mm high stamp shows the crossed sticks with their iconic scooped basketweave heads. Whatever your team or level of play, show your esteem for Lacrosse on jewelry, leatherwork, or other stamping projects.
The 65.75x9.5x9.5mm stamp is made from hardened steel, stamped on the side with symbol for orientation and identification, and is designed to impress with equal ease on soft metals such as silver, copper, brass, bronze, and aluminum, as well as paper and polymer clay. The stamp is plated to reduce rust and wear. In order to better prevent rust, our stamps are lightly coated with oil. Simply wipe down with a dry paper towel or rag before using. Do not store in damp places.
