These majestic plants are some of the most recognizable icons of desert landscapes. Made familiar by cowboy movies and tourism posters in the early 20th century, saguaros are naturally found only in the Sonoran Deserts of the US and Mexico. Living up to 200 years, this largest US cactus species can reach 60 feet high. Birds depend on them as homes to escape the desert rains, and Native Americans once used their limbs to carry the sparse amounts of water found in the desert to survive.
Our detailed saguaro cactus has realistic ribs and two branches jutting off the main trunk. Use by itself, or mix with gemstone charms and our other saguaro cactus charms (PSID 3229 and 10422). Length measure includes 5 mm jump ring.
