DESCRIPTION
Spring ring clasps are the next level up from simple hook & eye or toggle clasps. These roughly donut-shaped clasps are hollow metal rings cut in one place, with an inner curved wire pin, an outer trigger knob, and a hidden inner hardened steel spring assembly. Once closed around a jump ring, spring ring clasps lock in place, helping prevent accidental opening and jewelry loss.
In their smaller sizes, spring rings can be difficult to open and close for some people, so a stiffer 'bar' or 'tag' with a hole in it may be easier to use than a loose jump ring.
These 6mm spring ring clasps are made of lightweight but high quality .925 sterling silverwith a bright shiny finish, and are suitable for designs featuring medium chain or beading wire. A closed jump ring provides extra security for chains and beaded wires.
