Our lustrous crescent moon pendant is cast in 2.5mm high .925 sterling silver, with a hollow back to reduce weight. It hangs with both points facing down, from a free-swinging 5mm jump ring midway along the top curve.
This historically significant design spread from the ancient Near East, through Moorish Spain, and into Native American silver jewelry motifs in the 19th Century. It's lovely used alone as a pendant, or grouped in other moon and mystical-themed designs.
Height measurement includes 5mm soldered jump ring. Stamped 925.
