Also called bead tips, these sturdy 14Kt yellow gold filled crimp end caps have a 2.75mm (1.6mmID) loop attached to a wraparound, open-seamed 2.3mm tube (.48mm ID).
When properly used to cap off and anchor single strands of beading chain or beading wire, end caps offer a professionally-finished look to jewelry designs.
Because of their open seam, these caps should be crimped down very carefully to avoid distorting the tube. They can also be gently opened with a straight pin to accommodate slightly larger diameter chain or wire; in such cases, we recommend using a small amount of high-strength epoxy, as well.
