DESCRIPTION
Spring rings are hollow tubes formed into partial circles. At the gap of the circle are an internal spring and pin, and an external trigger. When the trigger is pulled down, the spring slides back from the gap, opening it to accept a jump ring or chain link.
Our 6mm-wide spring ring clasp is a good basic choice for medium weight chain or beading wire, but not recommended for heavier pieces. The closed jump ring allows for extra security when joining to existing chain, jump rings, and loops. Sometimes these clasps can be difficult to open and close. Solve this with a flat rigid tab like a stamping tag or quality tag, with holes large enough to accept the clasp pin and body.
