    DESCRIPTION
Dating from European jewelry in the late 19th Century, leverback or hinged earrings have been designed to lock a swiveling clasp over the earwire once it's in place. This earring style offers a balance between comfort and extra insurance against earring loss.

Our smooth-finished, shiny 14Kt gold-filled version has a simple teardrop front profile with an open loop at the bottom to attach custom chains, charms, beads, or drops.
