Eyepins are one of the professional jewelry designer's versatile trade secrets. These long, straight metal wires come with a calibrated pre-made 'eye' or loop at one end. They can be used to make custom dangles and links with holes on each end of a beaded eyepin, by simply stringing beads then creating the second loop with narrow round-nose pliers. Exciting wide 'ribbon' or 'broad collar' looks can be made by joining multiple parallel lengths of chain with beaded eyepins, or 'netted' effects by joining beaded eyepins with jump rings or chains in various mesh patterns.
