The most basic of the mechanical clasp designs, the spring ring is a hollow tube formed into a partial circle. At the gap of the circle are an internal spring, steel pin, and an external trigger. When the trigger is pulled down, the spring slides back from the gap, opening it to accept a jump ring or chain link. Smaller versions of these clasps can be difficult for some people to open and close. Solve this with a flat rigid tab like a stamping tag or quality tag, with holes large enough to accept the clasp pin and body.
Our version has a sturdy open loop (inner diameter 1.3mm) to be used with jump rings, beading line or chain, or wire-wrapped connectors.
