Natural Bronze Compass Rose Pendant. The compass rose has appeared on charts and maps since the 1300's. The term "rose" comes from the figure's compass points resembling the petals of its blossom. The device is used to indicate the directions of the winds.
Our bronze is a high quality Italian alloy of copper and tin that contains an anti-tarnish compound which delays, but does not eliminate, eventual oxidation.
Length measurement includes the 5 mm soldered jump ring.
