Our 21 gauge .028" (0.71mm) is a good all-purpose wire; it is useful for head pins, jump rings, cuff and wire bracelets, neck wires, ear wires, earring posts, rivets. 'Half-Hard' wire refers to precious metal or gold filled jewelers brass wire that has been slightly hardened in the manufacturing process. It yields springy, crush-resistant bends and loops, but can be much harder to use with tight spirals or complicated bends
