Pro Econoflex Steel Gray Color Wire is an affordable and quality alternative beading wire for jewelry hobbyists. It offers Soft Flex's first and only .014 wire made with 49 (7x7) woven strands of stainless steel, encased in a durable colored nylon outer coating.
Please Note: This is a sturdy, functional beading wire, but it does not offer the full flexibility, draping quality & kink resistance of the more expensive Soft Flex or Soft Touch lines.
It's ideal for beaders just starting out, or for jewelry and costume designers needing a slightly stiffer wire. It's best used for patterns featuring wide loops, or for simple stringing of single or multiple beaded strands of small wood, glass, metal, gemstone, or pearl beads. Not recommended for intricate, tightly-woven beadwork styles such as Right Angle Weave or Herringbone.
