This versatile lever-action leather punch for hand sewing produces five different hole sizes, selectable on a rotary dial: .8, 1, 1.2, 1.5, and 2mm. Replaceable rotary disc, joint spring, and separate hardened steel punch. Curved handles and spring action joint help reduce hand sprain.
Designed for use on lightweight leathers, vinyl, handmade papers, and other flexible materials, this punch can take the guesswork and mess out of hole-setting for sewing, wire-wrapping, leather edge binding, or pierced openwork designs.
Easy to use: select the hole size by turning the rotary dial. Mark where your hole needs to be with a light pencil dot or ball-tool impression, lay material against the dial, gently squeeze handle until pointed punch tip comes down to meet center of mark (but don't punch through yet!) Check alignment of tip and mark. When they meet, just squeeze the handles the rest of the way. The precision edges of the tip and holes produce a crisp-edged hole.
