Spring Ring W/ Open Ring Sterling Silver 8mm - 10pcs

Spring rings are hollow tubes formed into partial circles. At the gap of the circle are an internal spring and pin, and an external trigger. When the trigger is pulled down, the spring slides back from the gap, opening it to accept a jump ring or chain link.

Our 8mm-wide spring ring clasp is an excellent choice for medium weight chains, wire wrapped bead necklaces, or beading wire necklaces. Inner clasp diameter 5mm, inner diameter of jump ring 2.5mm.

This size and larger spring ring clasps are also useful for creating easily interchangeable pendants and dangles: just hang your charm, drop, or other pendant from the jump ring, and clip the clasp around silver chain, leather, silk, or ribbon necklaces!

The open jump ring allows easy joining to existing chain or closed jump rings and end caps, but may require some caution with heavier chains. (We recommend closed-link joins for larger pieces of jewelry.)
